This Christmas...

This was the best Christmas EVER!!! Sometimes we take so much for granted and expect so much and sometimes so little that we don't see the joy in the little things. This Christmas was so exciting because it was our first one as a family (meaning my boyfriend, our son, and I). I think it was special because everything was from the heart! Who knew such tiny treasures could bring such large pleasures?
My son really enjoyed EVERY gift he was given and we really enjoyed watching him open and play with them. Of course we exchanged gifts and I got some things I wasn't expecting at all (not a ring though hint hint lol). But I feel as though our family is truly blessed considering the test and trials we were faced with this year. It was truly difficult to start the year with a new baby and I lose my job. Living on one income unexpectedly surely took some getting adjusted to and budgeting really stepped in.
We both have faith and believe that God will make a way. We just put our full trust in the Lord and knew everything would be alright. If we had listened to comments and negative thoughts from those on the outside we would probably be without. Thank God for showing us only HIS will be done. How did you enjoy your Christmas?

The NERVE of Some People!!!

So today I go to get my nails done and of course I had my son with me for a quick minute because my mom would meet me there. I was trying to make my noon appointment because I would have to be to work by 3. Of course my mom didn't make it to the nail shop the same time as me. To me this is no biggie considering my son is not a fussy nor difficult baby to deal with. He's 8 months but he's a pleasant 8 months.
So I'm getting my nails done and decide to check my twitter account to see that the woman who owns the nail shop has a problem with me having my son with me for the few minutes he's there. Her tweet said "don't bring your baby to the nail shop PLEASE, what makes you think you could get your nails done holding a baby"...not knowing the entire situation and not knowing how much of a messy bi*+# (excuse my language) she showed herself to be. People are quick to voice their opinion without knowing details...always keep your mouth shut and your ears open....I love my nails though (no thanks to her of course)

Tis the Season...

...Or is it? I started off December wrapped in the spirit of Christmas and somehow just fell off. With a lot of people around me full of drama and hatred, its hard to keep a smile on your face. When the closest people to you begin to separate themselves from you, you start to wonder what could've caused such animosity in the first place. I've always been a friendly person, yet it seems others can't stand to see you happy.
You get many well wishes when things start going well, then its the down-talk and what was initially well wishes becomes "spite". With so many different attitudes and so-called friends and relatives weighing you down how can you truly have a Merry Christmas. We all have our problems and issues yet we take them out on others that have nothing to do with those issues. It seems one day you have yourself surrounded with the greatest people and the next they're all gone. How can it be a season of love, hope, and giving yet no one is around to participate.
No one wants to isolate themselves from others completely yet everyone isolates themselves from you. Some say you came here alone and you will leave alone so enjoy yourself. I say why not surround yourself with loving people and great friendships to make the days better. I pray for myself, my friends, my relatives, and others to build better and lasting relationships and enjoy this holiday season...HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!!

Sorry for the Delay?!?!?

So ive been MIA on the blogs. Since this is a mobile blog and I type from my Blackberry it was hard to do considering ive been working and someone stole my cellphone. Such a tragic thing when you feel your entire life is saved in such a small device. I couldnt help but think about all the contacts and emails i received or responded to on a daily. I honestly felt "naked" because my connection to the world had been cut off. I couldnt believe anyone would do such a mean and hateful thing like steal. I am now mobile thanks to a 400$ replacement and my mom. I do hope you continue to follow my blogs and leave comments as you wish....Happy Blogging!!!
